Retrofit

Retrofit is a term that refers to making your home more energy efficient. The UK government has set out a target to be net zero by 2050. This means that the carbon dioxide that the country produces is offset by the amount of oxygen that we produce meaning that this country will have a zero effect on climate change. The UK has over 26 million homes with only half a million of them at the current level required for the net zero target.

By carrying out work in your home with varying degrees of complexity from loft insulation to solar panels with battery storage, you can help reduce carbon dioxide emissions, reduce your energy bills and make your home more efficient. It might all sound a bit confusing but we have produced some simple information which can help you get started on your retrofit journey.
